An investigation of prospective teachers’ perceptions about research training environment at university level in Pakistan

ABSTRACT: The purpose of the study was to investigate the perceptions of prospective teachers about their research training environment. The prospective teachers enrolled in B.Ed. four years program studying in public sector universities of the Lahore city were the population of the study. The data were collected from 200 students using census sampling technique. The researchers collected the data by personal visits to the selected universities. The researchers adapted a questionnaire measuring research training environment and it was originally developed by Gelso, Mallinckrodt, & Judge (1996) developed on 5- point likert scale.
